Horizontal scaling and autoscaling

Replica counts live on the app Scale tab. You set web replicas and worker replicas, or turn Autoscaling on and use the same sliders as min/max (0–10, unless the plan caps lower).
Step by step

Open Scale
Open the app → Settings → Scale.

Set a fixed count, or enable Autoscaling
With Autoscaling off, the sliders are the replica counts. With it on, they are the min and max. Worker scaling follows CPU/memory, not queue depth.

Commit the change
Save from the app form. New replicas come up as part of the next revision. You do not edit an autoscaler object yourself.
Plan limits
maxReplicas is a plan limit. If the slider will not go higher, the org plan is the cap.
